be thankful…for family

The day before thanksgiving we headed out to the park for a little pizza lunch, park time and boccie ball. We had two games gong on so all dozen or so of us could play. I took photo’s:) and I’m so glad I did! I love taking photo’s but, often when we are out about town doing family things I don’t want to look like a crazy with a camera. As it is my family gives me looks when I pull it out, maybe they are why I have a complex about being crazy… anyhoo:)  I mostly was aiming to capture the cousins playing at the park but, wanted to get a few of the family just hanging out playing together even if they are kinda just standing around:) We were all together enjoying the sun and each other. I am Thankful!

Yes and a few more below of the kids. Seriously these girls crack me up! They are each beautiful, feisty and fun! Can tell that they come from the same gene pool?

The Smith 7

I think this mama rocks! Actually I think all moms with more than 2 kids rock but, this one is extra special because she is a near and dear friend. Mr. Smith got home from work about 5:15 this beautiful evening and we raced to my new favorite happy location for their photo’s.

be thankful… for cousins!

Thanksgiving has been the one holiday that we (the Frese family) get to be together as a whole family. Some years it works out that we get to all be together at other times too but, thanksgiving is 95% for sure that we will all be together. My Husband is #3 of four children. His oldest brother Justin has three kiddos that are almost 16, almost 13 and 11. Justin lives in Northern California and the kiddos live in the Central coast. Too far away! When they are in town, it is all about the cousins. I am so thankful that these kiddos are as excited to see us and the kids as we are them. With there ages they could easily think our kids are pests but, they don’t. This is such a blessing and I am so very thankful for them! Issac, Jake and Rach YOU ROCK!

Brother #2 lives in Southern Cal. They have four kiddos that are around the same ages of ours. We get to see them a bit more often but, again not as much as we’d like. Sadly soon they may not be in California anymore. Too too far away!

Thankfully Joshua’s sister lives just down the street! for now at least… sad subject because we will miss them so. They are looking to move back to the socal area for work.

This year I am thankful that all 12 cousins got to spend lost of time playing together and enjoying family this Thanksgiving!
