I love these kids!!! they are my nephews and niece… my kids cousins… “the cousins” I have been photographing these kids for a long time! One of my first photography projects revolved around Issac, the oldest, when he was about 2. They all crack me up in their own little way. We went to the current “spot” that I am addicted to and when we pulled up Issac says, ” We’re taking pictures here? It’s not a very pretty back ground.” It makes me laugh because it is so Isaac. This is a guy who, a coupple years back, questioned me on why all my pictures are in black and white Jacob the middle child could be a model if he wanted. He has a look and the personality to go with it. And sweet Rachel… she is such a girly girl and she has two brothers to put up with. I can photograph them individually and they are great! even Issac who only puts up with the picture thing for his mom and me but, man put them together for a picture and they are DONE!!!

Awhile ago now, 2 months maybe, I found out a friend was moving from California to Georgia. This was a big move for her and her family and we talked about it about how she would like to have some California in Georgia. She has lived in so-cal for the ??? years but, she is a central cal native, Clovis to be exact and she asked if I would collect some images for her. I have ideas of grandure, all kinds of cool captures but, time is against me so this project will take awhile.
She posted on her blog, Whittaker Woman, how she was feeling home sick so I pulled out these images for her.
