Fall Families day 2: part 1

I went out with miss Kori this past Sunday, to help her shoot her second day of fall families. Kori and I have a great time working together and we make a great team. Our last family of the day were the ones that enabled us (Kori, really) to shoot at this amazing location. If you missed your chance, I’m sorry. Make sure you get on the waiting list {in June 09} for next years {different} amazing location!

Thank you for sharing this special place with us. Your family is wonderful and  the property is AMAZING!

The season of crazyness

My holiday season begins in October. I take on much more than I should because I love what I do and I want to accommodate everyone. This year I have managed to limit myself but, inevitably something throws a wrench into my carefully planned chaos. Three weeks ago I woke up to a broken laptop hard drive. This is NOT a good thing….This is a very VERY bad thing. Now over the past 3 years I have learned that backing up is essential! I have learned this the hard way paying out lots of money for recovery services, experiencing too much stress and the loss of some very special images, all because I neglected my job of backing up files. Yet all that begin said my nature is lazy and I don’t always do the backups like I should. Thankfully this time the most critical images were backed up but, a few were lost. So over the last three weeks I have experienced crazy on top of crazy. The dust is begin to settle now and I am able to move onward.

In addition to my own clients I had the opportunity to help out my dear friend and fellow photographer Kori Friesen, of Captured Moments photography, tackle some of her holiday sessions.

Thank you all for your patience, your custom christmas cards are in the works :) if you feel like I may have forgotten about you, I haven’t but, feel free to send me an email :)

Blessings,

Kelley

Here is a bit of what I have been up to the past month :) There is lots to see :)
